## Ultimate Pool Pairs Cup 2026

The Ultimate Pool Pairs Cup returns for its 6th edition in 2026!

Following a thrilling 2025 event won by reigning champions Scott Gillespie & Shaun Storry, the Pairs Cup enters an exciting new chapter, featuring 32 pairings made up exclusively of Ultimate Pool professional players.

Fans can look forward to the return of established pairings including Callum Singleton & Josh Kane, Chris Melling & Craig Waddingham, Karl Sutton & Shaun Chipperfield, and #TeamBlessed Dom Cooney & Luke Gilbert. Adding further intrigue, Ultimate Pool’s No.1 and No.2 seeds, Tom Cousins & Declan Brennan, will team up for the first time in the competition.

The Pairs Cup will run across 11 blockbuster weeks, with each match night preceded by afternoon qualifiers, giving pairs one final opportunity to secure their place in the evening’s main event under the lights.

## Ultimate Pool British Open 2026

We are excited to be bringing you our third edition of the British Open.
The British Open will be held during the weekend of the 15th May through to the 17th May
The event will be held at the Mecure Daventry Court Hotel, Daventry

## Tournament Information
The format for 2026 will be will be a repeat of 2025 for the men where we have a strong 160 player field competing in a round robin format.  There will be 32 Groups of 5 where the races will be to 5 in the groups for the men.  Top 2 will then progress through to the Main Last 64 and 3rd-5th will progress through to the Plate.

## Dress Code
Dress Trousers (Any Colour), Dress Shoes and also all black trainers, Collared  Shirt, Maximum 5 Logos on the shirt as per UP Guidlines.  No Sponsor Logos on the back of the shirt.  Only Nicknames.

## Entry Fee
Entry into the Main Open will be £150.00 for adults and £75.00 for Under 18's   We are taking single entries for the Womens section.  Entry will be £100.00.  If you would like to enter, please contact Lee Grout on td@ultimatepoolgroup.com
Please note that you will need to book your hotel stay through Ultimate Pool and you are required to stay at the hotel.  2 Nights Minimum are required (Fri-Sat)

Ultimate Pool Players Championship returns again in 2026 for its fifth edition. The event will start at approximately 2:30pm on Friday 5th June and will run through to Sunday 7th June, where there will be one Men’s champion crowned. The event will once again be live on UltimatePool.TV and YouTube.

There will be 96 Professional Men competing in this event. The format remains consistent with last year, with double elimination in the early stages, progressing to single elimination from the Last 32. Matches will be played in a sets format, with both Winners and Losers side being Best of 3 Sets, each set races to 5.

New for 2026, the event will also feature a 32-player Professional Women’s event, further enhancing the Players Championships weekend. The Women’s event will begin at 7:00pm on Friday 5th June and will follow a double elimination format, progressing to single elimination from the Last 8. Matches will be played as Best of 3 Sets, races to 4.

**The Ultimate Pool Champions League returns for a sixth edition in June 2026.**

A professional-only ranking event for the third time will consist of 32 professional players.

Taking place on Monday nights from June 15th, this unique 11-week event will be live from 18:00 GMT each week on TNT Sports, ultimatepool.tv and the Ultimate Pool App.

## Tournament Information

**Status:** Professional-Only Ranking Event

**Format:** **Phase One (32 Players):** 8 round robin groups of four players. Each match is the first to four frames, but with a 20-minute match-clock. If a player does not reach four frames before the time expires, the score stands as the result. Players receive two points for a win, one for a draw and no points for a loss.

At the end of all six fixtures, the top placed player will qualify for phase two. If there is a tie for top place, a 6-reds shootout will determine the winner.

If players are tied on points at the end of any group in the Champions League (phases one and two), a 6-reds shootout will determine final standings. This is also required as it is a professional ranking event and points need to be distributed.

**Phase Two (Super 8's) (8 Players):** Two round robin groups of four players. Same format as phase one, except the top two will qualify for Finals Night.

**Phase Three (4 Players):** Finals Night consisting of the four remaining players. There will be two knockout semi-finals followed by a final. All matches will be the best of two sets. A set is the first to four frames, but with a 20-minute match-clock. If a player does not reach four frames before the time expires, the score stands as the result.

At the end of each set, players receive one point for a win, half a point for a draw and no points for a loss.

If the score after the two sets are completed is tied, a 6-reds shootout will determine the winner.

The Golden Break and Golden Duck are in operation throughout the Champions League.

## 🎱 LAST MAN STANDING (MEN)

## FORMAT & RULES – 2026

# Overview

Ultimate Pool’s Last Man Standing is a high-pressure elimination format where 32 players battle it out until only one remains.

After each match, the winner stays on the table and must choose their next opponent or go to a random draw.

👑 The last remaining player is crowned Last Man Standing.

The Assassins

A select group of players start as Assassins, each carrying a bounty.

Beat an Assassin → spin the Wheel
You may acquire the bounty and become an Assassin yourself

If an Assassin wins the event, they take the main prize plus all remaining bounties.

Assassin vs Assassin

When two Assassins play:

Only bounty-based outcomes apply
No additional rewards or advantages are available
The Wheel

When an Assassin is defeated, the winner spins the Wheel for:

Instant cash
Becoming an Assassin
The Assassin surviving with the event’s single Extra Life

Only one Extra Life exists in the entire event.

Final – Extra Life Rule

If a non-Assassin beats an Assassin in the final and the Extra Life is still unused:

A Final Wheel is spun
The match may be replayed if the Extra Life is activated

The winner is only confirmed once no Extra Life remains.

Match Flow

After each win:

Choose your opponent, or
Take the random draw

After two consecutive wins:

You must pick an Assassin, or
Go to the random generator
The Hot Seat
Enter by winning 3 matches in a row, or via the Joker Card
Grants immunity from being selected
Held until another player achieves 3 consecutive wins
The Joker Card

One player is secretly selected to hold the Joker Card.

When used:

The player is exempt from the match
They enter the Hot Seat
They choose a replacement player

If revealed when selected:

The opponent’s win streak resets to zero
Final 5 Stage

When five players remain:

Joker Card is removed
Hot Seat no longer applies
No immunity

From here, it’s straight elimination.

**The 2026 Ultimate Pool Pro Series will feature 6 events at three double-header long weekends and also a Grand Final weekend which will feature a Double Elimination Event with Double Money and Double Points up for grabs throughout the year. All 72 professional players are eligible to enter these events.** 

## Dates 

All Pro Series events in 2026 will take place at either the Premier Suite, Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton, Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan and New for 2026, Loughborough University, Loughborough 

There are four weekend stops, with two Pro Series events taking place at each one. Events will run from Fridays to Sundays.  The dates are:
- **Events 1 & 2 | April 3-5 - Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan** 
- **Events 3 & 4 | July 3-5 - Premier Suite, Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton** 
- **Events 5 & 6 | Aug 6-9 - Loughborough University, Loughborough** 
- **Events 7 & 8 | Dec 11-13 - Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan**

## Prize Money

# INFORMATION FOR PLAYERS

## ABOUT ULTIMATE POOL

The Ultimate Pool Group organises and promotes professional 8-ball pool events featuring the world's top players. Founded in 2020 when the QK Sports Entertainment and Orange Media Group brands merged forces, the Ultimate Pool Group harbours an exciting vision for
the sport's future, with an emphasis on supplying quality, entertainment and increased levels of professionalism, exposure and prize money.
Ultimate Pool hosts a portfolio of live televised tournaments including several major invitationals and a structured two-tier floor circuit that consists of an open amateur series and an elite 72 player professional series. Throughout 2026, Ultimate Pool is set to pay out approximately over £880,000 in prizes (subject to fully paid fields).

## SCHEDULE
The 2026 Ultimate Pool Pro Series Events will commence on Friday and conclude on Sunday. Al matches will have an allocated start time. A comprehensive match schedule will be published a minimum of two weeks prior to each Series event.

## PRO SERIES FORMAT
Pro Series for 2026 will be single elimination for both events. There will be 72 players competing in each event. The top 32 ranked players – following the end of the 2025 season – will all be seeded into the round of 64. The remaining players will randomly drawn into their positions in the Last 64 round with some playing a prelim round to join the rest of the players in the Last 64.  More details to follow on that. All matches are a races to eight frames, although all main arena matches will be played with a match-clock. The Golden Break and Golden Duck rules are not in operation during this year’s Series.

## OTHER EVENTS
There will also be multiple events throughout the season that have been scheduled into 2026, as the Players Championship, European and British Opens, the Pro Cup and the Masters continue - these events are likely to be spread around the UK. Meanwhile, Monday Nights
will once again continue with the Champions League, Pairs Cup and Mixed Pairs on TNT Sports and Worldwide.

## DRESS CODE
All players will receive an official series shirt, which must be worn during your matches. No jeans or trainers allowed. Trousers and shoes to be worn whilst playing in all events. Any player who doesn't wear the official Ultimate Pool Shirt will be fined £45.00 and a new shirt
will be ordered for them.

## TV AND STREAMING 
Our Series events will either be televised and/or livestreamed on ultimatepool.tv, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. For further details please visit ultimatepoolgroup.com.

## WRISTBAND FEE
For the 2026 season, we will be using a wristband system for each series event. If you are participating in the events, the charge will be £50.00 per weekend. If you are planning on bringing your partner, friend etc, weekend passes are available for £20.00. Under 18s go free, but must be accompanied by a fee-paying adult.

By entering the Ultimate Pool Series you agree to abide by the rules set out by the organisers of the Ultimate Pool Series, accept they are subject to change and that decisions made by The Tournament Director will be final.
