The Amateur Players Championship returns for its second edition. 60 Players will return to action starting on the 28th/29th Oct.  The event will consist of 10 groups of 6 playing in a round robin format on the Saturday and Sunday morning.  The top 4 players from the initial group will then compete on the Sunday afternoon again in a round robin format.  Once that is complete, the top 2 from that group will compete in the final where the format will change to Best of 3 sets.  The winner will then qualify for the finals weekend.

**The Ultimate Pool Champions League returns for a fourth edition in January 2024.**

A professional-only ranking event for the second time will consist of 64 professional players following 7 prelim matches which will be played on the afternoon of their respective groups.

Taking place on Monday nights from January 8, this unique 21-week event will be live from 18:30 GMT each week on TNT Sports, ultimatepool.tv and the Ultimate Pool App.

## Tournament Information

**Status:** Professional-Only Ranking Event

**Format:** **Phase One (64 Players):** 16 round robin groups of four players. Each match is the first to four frames, but with a 20-minute match-clock. If a player does not reach four frames before the time expires, the score stands as the result. Players receive two points for a win, one for a draw and no points for a loss.

At the end of all six fixtures, the top placed player will qualify for phase two. If there is a tie for top place, a 6-reds shootout will determine the winner.

If players are tied on points at the end of any group in the Champions League (phases one and two), a 6-reds shootout will determine final standings. This is also required as it is a professional ranking event and points need to be distributed.

**Phase Two (16 Players):** Four round robin groups of four players. Same format as phase one, except the group winner will qualify for Finals Night.

**Phase Three (4 Players):** Finals Night consisting of the four remaining players. There will be two knockout semi-finals followed by a final. All matches will be the best of two sets. A set is the first to four frames, but with a 20-minute match-clock. If a player does not reach four frames before the time expires, the score stands as the result.

At the end of each set, players receive one point for a win, half a point for a draw and no points for a loss.

If the score after the two sets are completed is tied, a 6-reds shootout will determine the winner.

The Golden Break and Golden Duck are in operation throughout the Champions League.

**The 2024 Ultimate Pool Pro Series will feature ten events at five double-header long weekends throughout the year. All 75 professional players are eligible to enter these events.** 

2024 Pro Series events are straight knockout. The top 32 ranked players – following the end of the 2023 season – will all be seeded and go straight into the round of 64. The remaining players will contest the opening ‘preliminary’ round. 

All matches are a races to seven frames, although all main arena matches will be played with a match-clock.

The Golden Break and Golden Duck rules are not in operation during this year’s Series. 

The draws and schedules for each Series weekend will be released on the Live Scoring page around a fortnight before the event begins. 

## Dates 

All Pro Series events in 2024 will take place at the Grand Hotel in Blackpool 

There are five weekend stops, with two Pro Series events taking place at each one. Due to the rise in player numbers, events now run from Thursdays to Sundays.  The dates are:
- **Events 1 & 2 | February 15-18** 
- **Events 3 & 4 | April 4-7** 
- **Events 5 & 6 | June 13-16** 
- **Events 7 & 8 | September 19-22** 
- **Events 9 & 10 | November 21-24**

## Prize Money

As well as the [Ultimate Pool Group's Standard Terms and Conditions](https://www.ultimatepoolgroup.com/tournaments/upg-standard-terms-and-conditions) that all entrants must abide by, there are additional rules:

It is mandatory for all players competing on the 2024 Ultimate Pool Professional Series to stay at least three nights (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) at the Grand Hotel in Blackpool. 

You must book and pay for your accommodation in full at least three weeks prior to a Series weekend. Failure to do so will mean you will not be included in the draw; you could be replaced in the event(s) and you won't be eligible for any refund of entry fees.

Ultimate Pool Players Championships returns again in 2024 for its third edition.  The event will start at 9am on the 3rd May and will run through until the 5th May where there will be one winner.  The event will be live all weekend on UltimatePool.TV. We started with 75 professionals and we have whittled it down to 32.
The 32 players will competing in a fast and furious format.  There will be 8 groups of 4 players where each group will be playing in a round robin format (Races to 4, 20 min matches).  Top 2 from each group will go through to the Last 16 stage where it will become straight knockout.  The group winners will play against the group runners up at random.  Knockout stage will be Races to 5, 30 min matches.

Last Man Standing 2024 is BACK and exclusively live on UltimatePool.TV!!
After the success of this event in 2023, we are back again in 2024 with 32 players this time around.  These 32 players are a mixture of UP Professionals and Qualifiers.  They will compete on the 18th and 19th of May and will battle it out all weekend.
This exciting format will serve up some classic matches along the way and will undoubtably have some shock exits along the way too.
How it work.... 
1. The first two players will be drawn out at random using the random generator.
2. The winner will then be able to choose from the players remaining or go with the random generator again.
3. If that same player wins again, he must then choose an assassin whom has a bounty on his head or it goes to the random generator.
If they happen to win three in a row, they will be placed on the "Hot Seat" and they are then exempt from being picked again until someone else wins three in a row where they will replace the previous player in the "Hot Seat"  This repeats itself all the way through the event until we get to the final five players that are left in the event.
