The 2025 Ultimate Pool Womens Pro Series will feature eight events at four double-header long weekends throughout the year. All 32 professional players are eligible to enter these events.

2025 Womens Pro Series events are straight knockout. The top 16 ranked players will all be seeded in the Last 32 stage. The remaining players will be drawn in at random to play the top 16 ranked players. The top 16 ranked players will have their seed for remainder of the 2025 season.

All matches are a races to seven frames, although all main arena matches will be played with a match-clock.

The Golden Break and Golden Duck rules are not in operation during this year’s Series.

The draws and schedules for each Series weekend will be released on the Live Scoring page around a fortnight before the event begins.

Dates

All Pro Series events in 2025 will take place at either the Premier Suite, Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton or the Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan.

There are four weekend stops, with two Pro Series events taking place at each one. Events will run from Fridays to Sundays. The dates are:

Events 1 & 2 | April 4-6 - Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan
Events 3 & 4 | May 23-25 - Premier Suite, Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton
Events 5 & 6 | July 11-13 - Premier Suite, Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton
Events 7 & 8 | September 19-21 - Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan

Prize Money

The 2025 Ultimate Pool Womens Professional Series has a total prize fund of £43,200. The prize money breakdown for each event is as follows:

Winner: £1,800
Runner-Up: £900
Semi-Finalist: £450
Quarter-Finalist: £250
Last 16: £100

ABOUT ULTIMATE POOL

The Ultimate Pool Group organises and promotes professional 8-ball pool events featuring the world’s top players. Founded in 2020 when the QK Sports Entertainment and Orange Media Group brands merged forces, the Ultimate Pool Group harbours an exciting vision for the sport’s future, with an emphasis on supplying quality, entertainment and increased levels of professionalism, exposure and prize money.

Ultimate Pool hosts a portfolio of live televised tournaments including several major invitationals and a structured two-tier floor circuit that consists of an open amateur series and an elite 64 player professional series. Throughout 2025, Ultimate Pool is set to pay out approximately over £840,000 in prizes (subject to a fully paid fields).

SCHEDULE

Ultimate Pool Series Events will commence on Friday and conclude on Sunday. All matches will have an allocated start time: A comprehensive match schedule will be published a minimum of two weeks prior to each Series event.

SERIES FORMAT

The Women’s Pro and Challenger Series will be a replica of the 2024 Series. The Women’s Pro Series will be based on 32 players playing two events each weekend (8 in total in 2025). The format will be single elimination with races to 7 and a race to 8 in the final. The Women’s Challenger Series will again have one event per weekend consisting of 16 groups of 4 players. The top 2 from each group will go through to the main knockout stages and the bottom two from each group will go into the plate competition. The group stage matches races will be to 5. In the knockout phase, the main draw will continue with races to 5, while the plate competition will consist of races to 4.

SERIES PROMOTION & RELEGATION

The top 4 from the 2025 Women’s Challenger Series Rankings will be promoted to the 2026 Ultimate Pool Women’s Pro Series. The bottom 4 from the Women’s Pro Series will be relegated to the 2026 Ultimate Pool Women’s Challenger Series.

DRESS CODE

All players will receive an official series shirt, which must be worn during your matches. No jeans or trainers allowed. Trousers and shoes to be worn whilst playing in all events. Any player who doesn’t wear the official Ultimate Pool Shirt will be fined £45.00 and a new shirt will be ordered for them.

TV & STREAMING

Our events will either be televised and/or livestreamed on ultimatepool.tv, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. For further details please visit ultimatepoolgroup.com.

WRISTBAND FEE

For the 2025 season, we will be using a wristband system for each series event. If you are participating in the events, the charge will be £50.00 per weekend. If you are planning on bringing your partner, friend etc., weekend passes are available for £20.00. Under 18s go free, but must be accompanied by a fee-paying adult.

Entry includes series shirt & annual Ultimate Pool app subscription. DEPOSITS AND ALL ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If your application is not successful, your deposit will be returned as soon as possible.

The organisers reserve the right to remove and replace any entrant who fails to make the payment deadline as set out above. All players must pay all the entry fees, even if they do not attend all the Events. The organisers reserve the right to decline any unsuitable new applicants.
