Number of Players: 48 professional players
Format: The Professional Grand Slam is a professional ranking event. The format consists of a double elimination qualifying phase followed by a straight knockout from the last 16 onwards.
All matches are races to 8, except for those on the losers' side which will be races to 6.
Dates/Venue: The 2022 Professional Grand Slam took place between the 18th-20th February at the Players Pool & Snooker Lounge, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Prize Money: The 2022 Professional Grand Slam had a total prize fund of £36,000. The prize money breakdown was as follows:
- Winner: £14,000
- Runner-Up: £6,000
- Semi-Finalists: £3,000 each
- Quarter-Finalists: £1,500 each
- Last 16 Losers: £500 each
