The inaugural Ultimate Pool Challenger Series in 2021 was open to any amateur cuesports player.
The Series consisted of eight events throughout the season, with two events played at each Series 'weekend' at the Players Pool and Snooker Lounge in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
All events were straight knockout and unseeded, with a maximum of 128 players in an event.
The 2021 Challenger Series had a total prize fund of over £90,000, with the winner of odd-numbered events receiving £5,000 and the winner of even-numbered events receiving £3,000.
The Series loosely operated a money-based ranking list. The top eight ranked players at the end of the season all earned promotion to the 2022 Ultimate Pool professional ranks.
