The penultimate major of the season is here, as 96 of the finest players from the UP Pro Series and beyond compete for the European Open Title, while in the Women's European Open, Marion Jude looks to maintain her hot streak against a stacked field.

## Ultimate Pool European Open 2025

We are excited to be bringing you the second edition of the European Open.
The European Open will take place from the 24th - 26th October
The event will be held at Players Pool & Snooker Lounge.  

For the European Open in 2025, the event will bring the same format as 2024 with a slight change to the latter stages.  
There will be 96 entries which will be split into 16 groups of 6.  The event will start on Friday 24th at 10am where the first round of group matches will start.  The group matches will be races to 6.  These will continue thourgh to Saturday.  Then on Saturday afternoon we will dive into the KO Stages where 1st place from the Group phase will qualify through to the Last 32 stage while 2nd and 3rd place will enter into the Last 32/48 phase where they will play off against each other.  The winners will then move into the Last 32 phase.  The KO stages will be Races to 8 for the main event.  Players finishing in 4th, 5th and 6th will be entered into the second chance event.  Same again, 4th place will go into the Last 32 while 5th and 6th will play off against each other in the Last 32/48 phase.  The second chance will start on Saturday around 2pm with everything concluding on the Sunday evening.

In addition to 2024, we will have a Womens European Open for 2025 which is new for this season.
There will be 32 players competing this weekend and the format for this season will be Double Elim and Single Elim from the Last 8 phase.
The Winners Side will be Races to 6 and the Losers Side will be Races to 5.
The Womens Event is planned to start at 1pm on the Saturday.
