The Ultimate Pool Group is excited to launch a new purpose-built event management service for all its tournaments that will provide convenience to players and administrators alike.
A vital tool for the organisation moving forwards - meaning it won’t need to be reliant on external websites and software - the bespoke platform will be the only place players and fans need to visit in order to find out the current status of an Ultimate Pool event.
Based on the ultimatepool.tv website under the Live Scoring tab, the platform – powered by All Scores Live - will feature:
- Draws for upcoming UPG events
- Live scoring
- Live results
- Archive results from all UPG professional events
- Rankings
New features and applications are intended during future updates, such as tournament entry and payment portals for players, meaning the platform really will be a one-stop shop for all involved from start to finish.
The live scoring and results facility will be used for the first time later this month during the Champions League Open Qualifying Events taking place on the 29th and 30th January, although archive results and draws are available to be viewed now.
UPG Tournament Director Lee Grout has been working on the comprehensive service behind the scenes and is pleased to see its launch:
"I’m delighted to get started with the new system, and I hope the players and fans can enjoy all the features that we have developed and worked on with our events specifically in mind.
I believe what we have managed to achieve is the gold standard for pool tournament administration and the platform will be the industry leader of the future.
Over the past year, significant effort has been put in by the team to get this ready and I’ll be thrilled to see the players and fans use the live features during Champions League qualifying later this month."
