2021 Ultimate Pool Professional Rankings | Thompson Finishes Top

Following the conclusion of Professional Series Events 7 and 8 last weekend, the end-of-season Ultimate Pool Professional Ranking List for 2021 is finalised.

Having won an incredible three events throughout the campaign, Shane Thompson is the 2021 Ultimate Pool Professional Number One Ranked Player.

Testament to the international feel of the Professional Series, players representing seven different nations feature in the top 16 - England, Northern Ireland, Australia, Malta, Scotland, Republic of Ireland and France.

These rankings will be fixed and used throughout the 2022 Ultimate Pool professional season which consists of the Professional Series, the Professional Cup and the Professional Grand Slam, which will all be ranking events.

The top 16 will all go straight into the last 32 of the Professional Cup and the eight Professional Series events. The remaining 32 professionals will contest a preliminary round.

After each event or weekend during the 2022 season, a provisional list will be published - everyone starts the provisional season on zero points. At least the bottom eight at the end of the 2022 season are set to be relegated from the professional ranks, with the possibility of the bottom nine losing top tier status should two women players qualify for the 2023 professional ranks.

Details about ranking points for each specific event will be announced soon.
